This video was made by Copywriter and friend of mine Bob Ferraz, and Art Director Marcelo Melo. It was their submission for Film category of the Portuguese Young Lions Competition. The prize, young creatives go to the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival to represent Portugal, in the international Cannes Young Lions Competition. They finished 2nd, so unfortunately their not going to Cannes, but their submission is a great one, and I know this film will take them to other good places. Bob is available for hiring, Marcelo works for Fischer Portugal. For now this will only be understandable by the portuguese speaking readers, however they are working on an english version, and as soon as I have it, I will post that one.

It's highly probable they're on a creative's feet. This blog isn't about these shoes,
but rather the work produced by the people who wear them. Although, occasionally,
the odd shoe might pop-up as well.

He has some very good branding work, surelly worth a look.
I specially like the logo he did for Into Juice.

Just a few days ago I said I finally found my letterpress letters, ad today as I was looking through CR Blog, I found this video about the brasilian guys who did Creative Review’s cover a couple of months back, a cover made using letterpress.
As I commented on their blog, do you think we’ll share the same love for our inkjets as we have today for letterpress? Will I be looking in antique shops and on eBay for inkjet cartridges? Today I don’t think so, but who knows what I’ll think about this in a few years time.

Just found about this one on Facebook. “Collect-me” is an online shop that sells limited edition wall vinyls, pins, t-shirts, prints, etc, created by various Artists, Illustrators and Designers. Unfortunatley the website is in portuguese, however if you see something you really like and want to buy, I’m sure if you send them an email in english they will be happy to help you out.
I’m a big fan of designer toys.
As I was updating my Behance page and was browsing through other peoples pages, I found this great Germany based toy artist/designer called dust. Apart from making toys, he also has some great skecthes and illustrations. Be sure to check both his work, and toys. Who knows, you might find the perfect addition to your collection.
I love Chinese, London based designer Jing Zhang’s work. She has amazing Illustration skills, and you can clearly see her roots in her work. Her website is well worth a few minutes of your time.
